Dr. Mark Sanders, PsyD
Dr. Mark Sanders (He/His/Him) is the founder of our Grandville location and primary provider of clinical services for Timber Creek Counseling West. He is a fully licensed psychologist. He earned his doctoral degree at Wheaton College in Clinical Psychology and completed his predoctoral internship at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA where he received specialized training in working with college-aged individuals and the LGBTQ+ population. He also has experience working in residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.
Mark has experience providing a wide range of services to a diverse group of clients. Although he enjoys working with clients of varying ages, he greatly enjoys working with older teens and emerging adults. He identifies as a general practitioner with clinical interests including, but not limited to: religious/spiritual concerns, LGBTQ+, relational difficulties, trauma, depression, anxiety, multicultural issues, and grief/loss. Mark grew up in West Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Calvin College.
