
Oluwatoyin Ajogbeje, LLMSW
Oluwatoyin Ajogbeje (She/Her) completed her Masters in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She formerly worked at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) SIU, where she conducted individual counseling with college students alongside psychosocial education. Her previous placement was at Project 12-Ways where she was trained to utilize behavioral parental training model that emphasizes assessment and training within the context of family’s daily routine(s). She also received specialized training on assessment and helping family members to develop skills in areas such as childcare, self-help, interpersonal relationships and maintaining healthy and positive family interaction.
Her areas of interest and focus include parenting, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, spirituality, stress, and trauma. She engages a holistic approach in order to maintain a focus on her client’s total well-being. Toyin has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, rape crisis and domestic violence service. Toyin utilizes a client-centered approach to empower her clients and she enjoys collaborating with them to build a healthy relationship that fosters a calming and safe environment for them. Her priority is to offer respect and unconditional positive regard to her client. She is honored and excited to be part of this amazing team at Timber Creek that is committed to clients’ emotional wellness and overall well-being.
