FULL TIME MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN


Timber Creek Counseling is a client-first, clinician-empowering, community-focused mental health private practice located in Chelsea, Michigan. We exist to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized mental health services. We are committed to providing outstanding mental health care and extending dignity to all. We are seeking a full time mental health clinician to join our practice. We are not interested in creating a large mental health practice but rather desire to strategically incorporate and support highly-skilled, empathetic clinicians who provide the highest standard of care. We strongly believe in providing a work environment that is highly enriching and healthy for the clinician, so that they can do their best work. Responsibilities include:


  • Providing on-going, out-patient clinical services to clients on a weekly or as needed basis.

  • Manage a clinical caseload and deliver competent clinical care using ethical and proven therapeutic techniques.

  • Timely completion of documentation for assessments, treatment planning, and progress notes.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Work Experience and Education


  • At least one year of clinical experience (preferred)

  • Interest or experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples

  • Must be available to work some evenings and/or weekends

  • All candidates must be licensed by the State of Michigan : LPC, LMFT, LLP, LMSW, LP


Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent organization and time management

  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently


Education:

Master's (Required)

Doctoral (Preferred)
