Your Mental Health and COVID-19

With all of the changes that have likely occurred in your life due to COVID-19, we want to remind you that we are here to support you and particularly your mental health. Our hope is that we can be a resource in whatever capacity best serves your current needs.

For most people, significant, unexpected changes result in increased stress. In addition, a lack of social interactions and routine can be difficult, but thankfully, there is no reason that we cannot find ways to continue to work on mental health.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested in any of the following:

A teletherapy session - We utilize a super user-friendly platform called Doxy. All you need is a browser and our URL. There is no complicated log-on process. It is a HIPPA compliant, secure solution that allows you to have a face to face video session with one of our psychologists.

A free 15-minute phone consultation - We are here to help provide resources and connect those in our community to services that could be beneficial during this time.

Resources - Here are a few resources we find helpful for staying educated and helping with anxiety during this season:

National Child Traumatic Stress Network - Coping with Coronavirus

APA Resources - Pandemics

Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress - Factsheets for families, leaders, and providers

State of Michigan - Coronavirus Resources
