Therapeutic Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) Group

Therapeutic Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) Therapy is an innovative form of group therapy that utilizes collaborative narration, storytelling, and interactive gameplay to foster real-world psychological growth. Led by a licensed professional counselor who acts as the "Game Master," group members work as a team to explore unique worlds, solve collaborative problems, and defeat shared foes. By blending modern developmental therapies with intentional game mechanics, we provide a fun, immersive, and safe space to help participants build deep empathy, improve social connections, and learn to navigate life's challenges with resilience.

Perspective-Taking & Empathy: Stepping into a character's shoes to understand diverse viewpoints, motivations, and feelings.

Communication & Collaboration: Actively negotiating with teammates, listening to group ideas, and solving problems collectively.

Executive Functioning: Managing game rules, planning strategic turns, and engaging in creative, imaginative play.
