Michael Ohonbamu

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Michael Ohonbamu (He/Him) obtained his MSW from the University of Michigan. He has worked with youth and adults in the mental health field for over 5 years doing case management, crisis intervention, and community outreach.

He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in eSwatini, South Africa where he specialized in youth development through club & sports. In addition, he did a service year at a homeless shelter for youth at risk in Alaska where he utilized a problem solving and solution focused approach to treatment planning.

His area of focus include, but are not limited to, person centered planning, safety planning, care coordination, coping skills, work life balance, interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, and increasing positive emotions. Michael believes that a healthy relationship with yourself sets the foundation to give and receive the support we desire.
